Nagpur’s Annie in Mah women football squad

Annie Anthony, talented midfielder of Amma Football Club Nagpur, has been selected in the Maharashtra women’s football team for the 26th Senior Women’s National Championship.
The national championship will be held at Kerala from November 28 to December 9.
Annie, a robust midfielder, is the only player from Nagpur to be selected in the squad. Four footballers from city attended the selection trials.
Maharashtra are placed in Group E against Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Sikkim.
All matches of Group E will be played in EMS Corporation Stadium, Kozhikode.
Maharashtra will play their first match against Arunachal Pradesh on November 29.
They next face Jammu and Kashmir on December 1 followed by their last match against Sikkim on December 3.
