“IF YOU are getting a little late for the meeting at your office, just remember to send a short text message about the same to your boss. If you could inculcate this habit amongst your team members and ensure that they are following the practice of prompt and clear communication as a norm, then you are building a great team,” said Vishal Kulshreshtha, General Manager, Happiest Mind Technologies Ltd Noida and Co-author ‘Leader Sinks Ship’. He was speaking at the offline ‘Wisdom Hour’ organised at Patrakar Club, Civil Lines, Nagpur by Vidarbha Management Association (VMA). Kulshreshtha further added, “Communication has immense importance and leaves no scope for assumptions. It minimises awkward moments and possible disasters by making the team responsible. This leads to building an excellent bond among the team members for efficient working.

 

When the team speaks and open ups there are less chances to have internal grudges and it also paves a way to having a more respectful environment at the workplace.” Siddharth Gaur, Co-author ‘Leader Sinks Ship’ and HR Head at Credencys Solutions Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad gave parallel inputs in the session. Gaur said, “When you wish to build a team that has excellent co-ordination and can manage affairs even in the absence of the boss, then ensure that they are working in sync with each other and their common goal is the company’s growth.

 

VMA recently conducted a workshop on insights and information related to stocks and shares ‘Zero to Hero’ wherein the resource person was Bhushan Kanathe. The workshop received an overwhelming response. VMA is based at Nagpur and meets every Sunday at 10.30 am. VMA is dedicated to impart learning related to business management and leadership to its members. VMA is a non-profit organisation and is currently in its 17th successful year of operation.
