Vidarbha Under-19 batsman Mohd Faiz cracked a daddy hundred as he helped his side India C register a 15-run win over India F in the BCCI organised Challenger Trophy Men’s Under-19 One-Day Limited Overs (2021-22) tournament at Gujarat College Cricket Ground ‘A’ in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
The left-handed opener smashed 145 runs as India C posted 313 for six in 50 overs.

Faiz was unconquerable and the only way to see his back was a run out in the 44th over.
But before his departure, Faiz and captain Aneeshwar Gautam (82*) added 80 runs for the fourth wicket as they crossed 300-run mark. B Sachin was the other notable scorer with 38 runs.

Dinesh Bana (52*) and Uday Saharan (53*) kept their hopes alive but were unable to achieve the target.
