MOHOTAS, one of the older teams affiliated to Vidarbha Bridge Association, polished up their image just that little bit on Sunday. The father and son duo of Basant and Anurag Mohota succeeded in regaining the top perch in pairs event organised by Vidarbha Bridge Association in their sports complex at Shankar Nagar. Competing from a field of 12 pairs from Vidarbha region in 22 deals Match Point contest played in Howell movement, Mohotas became eligible for winners purse by virtue of having secured a tally of 66.55 MP.

 

They faced tough competition from another consistent pair of father and son Raja and Amit Rewatkar who finished runners-up with a tally of 60.82 MP. Kusum Bhave, partnering AG Karandikar, succeeded in ending up as second runners-up putting together 56.36 MP. Amit Rewatkar was Tournament Director for this brain game. The club authorities have decided to host pairs event on every Sunday informed Amit on behalf of the association.
