MARTIAL arts players of Pegasus Martial Art Academy (PMAA) representing prominent schools of the city returned with huge medal haul from the 1st State-level Koshiki Martial Arts Championship that concluded at Nashik recently. The event, conducted by Koshiki Association of Nashik and organised by Koshiki Association of Maharashtra, was held at Sports Division Office’s Meenatai Thakre Stadium.

 

The event was also recognised by School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Players from ten district took part in the tournament. City’s medal winners Naman Premani (U-14 gold), Jiya Dara (U-14 gold), Ishita Ghatate (U-17 gold), Pratham Khilnani (U-18 gold), Anee Jain (U-17 gold), Avni Vijaywargi (U-17 gold), Jayant Wadhwani (Above-18 gold), Aryan Tamgade (U-18 gold), Vihan Mehta (U-11 gold), Jayati (U-14 gold), Parinita Patel (U-17 gold), Straina Patel (U-14 gold). All students have been selected for national-level competition to be held in Nagpur coming December. All the players trained under guidance of coach Master Yugant Ugale.
