Six NCC cadets leave for All India Yatching Regata in Odisha

Six out of twenty-four NCC cadets left to participate in the All India Yatching Regata-2021 to be organised at Chilka Lake, Odisha. These cadets who will represent MP and chhattisgarh Directorate NCC at the All India Yatching Regata-2021 at Odisha, were selected after extensive training during Pre-All India Yatching Regata Selection Camp held at Bargi Dam by 2 MP Naval Unit NCC. The selected cadets along with eighteen others were trained under the direction of Camp Commandant Lieutenant Commander, Amit Sharma and supervision of Deputy Camp Commandant Major Arundhati Shah in the camp. It may be mentioned that 2 MP Naval Unit NCC held a four-day Pre All India Yatching Regata Selection Camp which was attended by 06 NCC cadets each from Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior and Raipur group of MP and GC Directorate.
 
Swimming was mandatory for the cadets based on which they were selected for further competition. Camp Commandant, Lieutenant Commander, Sharma extended gratitude towards all the PI Staff, Civil Staff, Cadets and others for their support. Those who rendered their contribution in the camp included Associate NCC officer, Sub Lieutenant, Dr. Sanjay Rajak, Chief Pety Officer, Roshan Singh, Pety Officer, Ashish Dubey, Sonu Raja, Rakesh Kumar Patel, Prahlad Vishwakarma, KD Vishwakarma, Akash Rai, Anurag Rathore, Narendra Hedau, Akash Yadav, Rakesh Yadav and other staff.
