Residents submit memo to Asst Mpl Commr, demand public amenities in Paraswada

To protest against the lack of public amenities in Paraswada, displaced residents of the area under the guidance of Sanyukt Visthapit Basti Morcha and Nagrik Upbhokta Manch submitted a memorandum to Assistant Commissioner, Mahesh Kori and Anju Singh and demanded to provide public amenities in the village. The residents informed that district administration has not been able to provide basic facilities in slum areas of Shyam Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Durga Nagar, Lal Baba, New Lal Baba and Ranital. Nagrik Upbhokta Manch Prantiya Sanyojak, Manish Sharma said that from the last 10 years, slum dwellers have not received possession of homes constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The concerned officers took thousands of money in the name of house registry but have not prepared house registry. Jagdish Vishwakarma informed that slums lack public amenities.
 
The women have demanded that Community Hall, primary School and Primary Health Centers should be set up in slum localities. The senior citizens have demanded that Vidhva Pension Scheme and Vridhawastha Pension Scheme should be resumed immediately. The concerned officers have assured that a camp will be organised for solving the grievances of slum dwellers. Aman Patel, Santosh Gaur, Jyoti Ahirwar, Chandravati Barman, Anita Jhariya, Rammu Patel, Sunita Bai Chaudhuri and others were present.
