Higher Education Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that Kshipra River is important and centre of faith for all of us. Every effort will be made to make Kshipra clean, pure and pollution free. Discussions have also been held with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Water Resources Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat in this regard. Minister Dr Yadav was discussing with the Sant Samaj at Datta Akhara in Ujjain on Monday. Higher Education Minister Dr Yadav said that all-round efforts are being made to keep the river Kshipra pure and clean. In consultation with Water Resources Minister and Indore district administration, a plan is also being made to transfer pure water to other places by installing filter plants to purify the water of Khan River. Similarly, after discussing with the Dewas district administration, a plan will also be prepared regarding setting up of a plant in Panthpiplai or Sanwer to purify the water of Khan river.

 

Higher Education Minister Dr. Yadav assured the Sant Samaj that a plan would be prepared after discussing with the subject experts to purify the water of Khan river. Along with this, work is also being done at a fast pace to ensure that the water of the dirty drains of Ujjain city is not discharged in the Kshipra river. Indore, Dewas and Ujjain district administrations will jointly fulfill their responsibilities for pure water in the Kshipra river and we will all try together for the best that can be done. Dr Yadav said that action would also be taken to build a pucca dam near Triveni Temple Ujjain. He met Mahant Pir Sundarpuri Maharaj of Guru Dattatreya Akhara and urged him to end the dharna. The entire Sant Samaj agreed to the request of the Higher Education Minister.
