Chhattisgarh State has received 1st price for making maximum Digital Health ID card through Health and Wellness Centres in country. During November 16 to December 12 participation of Chhattisgarh was 35 per cent. Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare of India, Dr Bharti Praveen Pawar awarded first prize to Chhattisgarh state at New Delhi. Anand Sahu, Incharge State Programme Manager of National Health Mission received the award at New Delhi on behalf of State. Through Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava during November 16 to December 12 on the occasion of Universal Health Coverage Day 2021, highest numbers of Digital health ID, (53,067) were prepared. During the period over 1,52,942 ID were prepared out of which 35 per cent participation was of Chhattisgarh. All these ID’s were prepared through State’s Health and Wellness Centres.
 
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Health Minister T S Singh Deo have greeted team of Health Department and National Health Mission. Dr Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary of Health Department appreciated the efforts of health department. Dr Priyanka Shukla, Director of National Health Mission informed that during November 16-December 12 during national movement, General screening and Cancer screening were also performed at all health and wellness centre s of State. Digital Health ID was also prepared through special drive.
 
ID will contain information on medical history of patient. Total of 53,067 digital ID card was prepared in Chhattisgarh which 43,953 cards were made in Madhya Pradesh, 17342 in Odisha. Anand Sahu, Incharge State Programme Manager of National Health Mission received the award at New Delhi on behalf of State. One can prepare health ID by providing mobile number or Aadhaar number by visiting website https:/ /healthid.ndhm. gov.in/register information related to Name, date of birth, sex, address, mobile or aadhaar number are filled in the form.
