NSS Unit of SECT University organises competitions to mark World AIDS Day

A seminar to create awareness about AIDS was also organised at the University
 
 
A seminar focused on spreading awareness about AIDS was organised at SECT University, Bhopal on the occasion of World AIDS Day. While welcoming the guests to the programme, the Principal of SECT University, Dr Satyendra Khare, propagated the message of safeguarding against AIDS to all the students present on the occasion. Guests present on the occasion were, State Director, MP and Rajasthan Lepra Society, Naveen Saatle, Account Assistant, DAPCU, Bhopal, Priyanshi Jain, ICTC Counsellor, JP Hospital, Bhopal, Antisha Dubey, Ekta Malviya from ICTC, Bhopal and Assistant, DAPCU, Bhopal, Swati Gupta. All these guests present on the occasion underscored important information related to HIV AIDS and enlightened the students.
 
Prior to this, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Units of SECT University organised a poster-making and slogan writing competition and the winners of the competition were awarded by the guests. Saloni Singh, a first year student of BBA, stood first in the poster-making competition, while the second prize went to Anjali Namdev, a first year BCom student. Similarly, in the slogan writing competition, Shivani Nagle, a third year BCom student won the first prize while Prachi Rajput, a first year student of BCom won the second prize. Towards the end of the programme, Vice-principal of the college, Professor Yogendra Chauhan expressed gratitude to the guests and attendees of the programme. Archana Godbole successfully conducted the programme. On this occasion, the Dean of Academics, SECT University, Nitin Modh, HOD of SECT University, Umesh Kumar and other faculty members were also present.
