Akhil Bharatiya Poorv Sainik Seva Parishad Chhattisgarh (ABPSSPC) is going to organise a programme in Raipur on December 16 to mark Vijay Diwas, a nationwide occasion that marks the resounding victory of India Army over Pakistan in 1971 War. Addressing a conference at Raipur Press Club on Wednesday, ABPSSPC’s general secretary Pavan Kumar Nishad said that to mark the Vijay Diwas, the organisation of ex-armymen, will be hosting a programme in Shaheed Smarak Bhawan on December 16.

 

It may be recalled that this year’s celebration will be the Golden Jubilee Year (Swarnin Vijay Varsh) of the biggest military surrender after World War 2 which resulted in the creation of a new country- Bangladesh. Under this, four Swarnim Vijay Mashaals (Victory Flames), which were sent in four cardinal directions, which traversed the length and breadth of the country paid homage to the 1971 War Heroes.
