All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and All India Qaumi Tanzeem National President Tariq Anwar participated in ‘Sadbhavana Sammelan’ at Shaheed Smarak in State capital on Wednesday. The event was organised by Chhattisgarh Pradesh Qaumi Tanzeem. Addressing the programme, former Union Minister Tariq Anwar said that communalism, whether it is of minority or majority, is harmful to the unity and integrity of the nation. AICC General Secretary Anwar urged the people to come forward to strengthen Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology in the country. Some people are trying to promote Godse’s ideology and to crush Gandhi’s ideology. “We want to make India according to the dreams of the freedom fighters, who dreamed of a secular India.

 

We are promoting the dreams of the freedom fighters,” he added. Former Madhya Pradesh Minister Kamleshwar Patel, Sant Vishnu Maharaj Ji, State Commission for Minorities Mahendra Chhabda, Shafi Ahmad, State Farmers’ Welfare Council Chairman Surendra Sharma, Chhattisgarh Haj Committee Chairman Mohammad Aslam, District Congress Committee Raipur Chairman Girish Dubey, Kanhaiya Agrawal, Shariq Raes Khan, Mohammad Siddiqui, Rizwan Khan, Shabbir Khan and others attended the programme. Mohammad Ahmad conducted the proceedings of the programme.
