Collector Avinash Lavania and Municipal Commissioner KVS Chauhdary inspected different Rain Baseras in the State Capital including the one on the Hamidia Hospital premises. The top officials expressed satisfaction on the arrangements made for night stay and for food and instructed to make better arrangements to avoid cold and burn bonfire. Collector Lavania directed to add beds to accommodate more people. He also discussed with the people staying there about their experiences and if they felt comfortable in the Rain Basera. Municipal Commissioner Chaudhary told the Collector that number of people coming to stay during night here at Rain Basera has increased owing to the cold.

 

Lavania inspected the men’s and women's Rain Baseras at Hamidia Hospital, Yadgar-e-Shahjahani Park and MP Nagar Zone 02 and sought information regarding the beds, blankets, food, bonfire available for the night stay and in order to provide relief from cold, instructions were given to ensure better arrangements. Municipal Commissioner Chaudhary directed the officers that proper arrangements should be made continuously in the night shelters and adequate quantity of wood should be ensured for continuous arrangement of bonfire.
