Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) has launched ‘Clean City Raipur’ for Swachh Survekshan-2022 on Wednesday. Talking to mediapersons here, Mayor of the RMC Aijaz Dhebar said that the Swachh Survekshan-2022 is being carried out by taking cooperation and participation from all the public representatives, common citizens, NGOs, various organisations, officers and employees. Door to door garbage collection and processing is being done by Delhi Municipal Solid Waste Solution Limited Company. For the location information of vehicles engaged in door to door garbage collection, Google App of ‘Clean City Raipur’ has been prepared by Ramki Company and can track as well as register complaint in case of non-availability of said vehicles, the Mayor said. Chhattisgarh was adjudged first position third consecutive time in 2021.

 

President of India Ram Nath Kovind honoured Chhattisgarh in a function held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, the Mayor added. Speaker Pramod Dubey, Chairman of Health Department Nagbhushan Rao, Leader of Opposition in RMC Meenal Choubey, MIC Member Srikumar Menon, Sundar Jogi, Jitendra Agrawal, Additional Commissioner Sunil Chandravanshi, Executive Engineer of Swachh Bharat Mission Raghumani Pradhan, Health Officer Vijay Pandey, Assistant Health Officer Dr Tripti Panigrihi and others were present.
