NSS members dig second pond in Nevsa village

National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of CMD College Bilaspur dug the second pond in the adopted village Nevsa for water conservation. Pandit Sanjay Dubey inaugurated the pond as the chief guest of the ceremony while in-charge Principal Dr Sanjay Singh presided over. Sarpanch of village Nevsa Ajit Singh Maravi, Deputy Sarpanch Gendram Yadav, senior citizen Keshav Yadav were present. The chief guest distributed 50 blankets and motor pumps for irrigation of fruit gardens to the elderly people of the village.
 
Street plays were staged by volunteers in village Nevsa, Gobripat, Karka, Mohtra, Dhanras, Shivtarai under the program Hamar Angana. Camp coordinator Dr P L Chandrakar and Dr K K Shukla said that in the seven-day special camp, along with the construction of pond, women empowerment, covid vaccination, free health test, legal literacy camp, efforts were held. As many as 90 students of the college participated in this camp.
