Arang Police on Monday caught three motorbike-borne youths with 17 kilograms cannabis on Odisha-Bagbahara road. The price of seized cannabis is estimated to about Rs 1.70 lakh. A joint team of Arang Police and Cyber Cell intercepted the motorcyle TVS CG-04-LN-5337 between Arang and village Chhatera with Bhuneshwar Dewangan (27), Suresh Yadav (35) and Yashwant Baghel (29). The youths were carrying a plastic bag containing cannabis, which the police seized in checking. Two of the three smugglers are of Mahasamund and one of Gariyaband. Arang Police has registered a case under Section 20B of NDPS Act.
