THE ‘A’ team of Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) will lock horns with Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana girls for supremacy in Junior District Basketball Championship organised by Nagpur District Basketball Association at NBYS Courts in Bajaj Nagar. On Thursday evening, both the teams recorded facile wins over their respective opponents in the semi-finals to book final date.

 

While DKM ‘A’, led by Dhara Phate (12), Bhumika Gedam (10) and Sneha Khandelwal (8), outsmarted SKS ‘A’ (Sneha Rotkar 3) 40-15 (13-4, 12-4, 11-0, 4-7), SNG’s Swati Wankhede (15) and Gunjan Mantri (12) excelled in the team’s victory over ABC (Krupaee Sharma 10, Meehira Dhote 10) 41-29 (10-6, 7-9, 16-9, 8-5).
