Man arrested for cheating

POLICE arrested one in connection with cheating involving over Rs 2.08 lakh in Supela, Bhilai. The accused relieved several villagers of hard earned money on pretext of lucrative returns against investment in the company schemes, the police said while citing facts recorded in the course of investigation in the matter. Police sources informed that the accused was identified as Kishan Sahu, a resident of Borsi, Durg.
 
The police said that after complaint the cheating offence was registered and the investigation in the matter revealed that the accused was working for Dream Hub India the investment company and cheated several villagers along with the applicant in the case Kamlesh Manikpuri, a resident of Akola village of Kumhari, Durg on pretext of hefty returns against investment in the company schemes. The police also said that the accused Kishan Sahu was constantly hoodwinking the police since the complaint in the matter was lodged in November month this year. On being tipped off a Supela police team swung into action and succeeded in laying hands on the accused Kishan Sahu in Nandini, Durg. The police have registered the offence against the accused under sections 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code for indulging in the criminal acts of cheating and for common intent of committing crime.
