Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary inspected the works of Sewage Lines, sewage chambers and sewage connection in MP Nagar Zone 1, MP Nagar Zone 2 and Harshvardhan Nagar on Wednesday. Along with this, an awareness rally was taken out to spread the message of sewage cleanliness campaign, sewage connection and general cleanliness. Apart from this, message to make city plastic free and water plus city was also given. Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary informed the NCC cadets about sewage cleanliness works. He also interacted with people and informed them about the activities being carried out in connection with cleanliness. He also inspected the sewage cleanliness works being done with the help of sewage cleaning machines in MP Nagar area. In the meantime, while leading the cleanliness rally, Chaudhary asked people to maintain cleanliness, not to use polythene and to take sewage connection immediately.

 

Chaudhary also informed people that through the help of wet garbage, bio gas is being produced. Moreover, sewage water is treated with the help of sewage treatment plant and it is made reusable. He also informed people about the dangers of polythene and appealed people to help in making city free from plastic and water plus city. Large number of NCC cadets and BMC squad participated in cleanliness campaign. He also directed for maintenance of sewage lines and sewage chambers. He also gave other necessary directives to the officials and instructed them to ensure proper cleanliness.
