Driver Chitra Manwani and her navigator Sajid Ansari were winners and were given Rs 12,000 cash prize 
 
At least 25 vehicles were driven at 15th Blind Challenge Car Rally-2021 organised by Arushi, an NGO in association with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), on Sunday. IGRMS Director P K Mishra flagged off first vehicle and the rally commenced from DB City Mall. The first car was driven by Aruneshwar Singh Deo with Navigator Nisha Ojha.
 
The rally where the vehicle was driven by a sighted person and the navigator was a blind person, the route map in Braille was given to them on the spot. Navigators for the rally were from all over Madhya Pradesh. The rally covered around 30 kms distance within Bhopal Municipal limits. Competitors finishing with minimum penalty points were declared winners, as there was one penalty point for each minute delay and 5 penalty points on entering one minute early at the check points. All safety measures under the Government guidelines were strictly followed.
 
Prize distribution programme was organised at Vithi Sankul auditorium of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. Driver Chitra Manwani and her navigator Sajid Ansari were winners and were given Rs 12,000 cash prize. Rajan Deb won second prize with his navigator Brijesh Jatav and bagged a cash prize of Rs 6,000. Rakesh Sharma memorial trophy for most enthusiastic participant was given to Major Rajesh Paul. Gold Medalist Common Wealth Games and Winner of US Open Karate Championship Supriya Jatav was also present as special guest.
