Bharatiya Janata Party State In-charge D Purandeswari said people have come to realise that the expectations with which they had voted for the Congress have become a distant dream. She said there are a lot of issues as the ruling Congress Government has failed in every front. Talking to mediapersons after BJP Legislative Party Meeting at Kushabhau Thakre Parisar, Puranderswari said she had spoken to all leaders having differences of opinions and tried to sort out all differences just like what happens in a family and move ahead after overcoming them. She said there are lots of issues which will be raked up in the near future. But first of all these issues will be taken during the forthcoming Budget Session thereafter, the party will take to streets.

 

We had got a good response when the party had raised farmers' issues and farmers have come to believe that BJP will stand with them. Reacting to a comment made by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel regarding differences in the party, the BJP State In-charge said why should he comment on our party’s internal issues, this is our house, we will think about it. Is there any kind of desperation or is he frightened. She said her tours to Chhattisgarh are mainly to focus on party organisation and its issues. This time it was the same and focus was laid on strengthening booth, mandal and district committees and future programmes were chalked out. During the BJP Legislative Party meeting, discussions were held on how to rake up issues in the forthcoming Assembly Budget Session.

 

She added a mechanism has been devised to remove differences in the party fold so that party activities can be carried out in unison. During meeting District Presidents and later with the BJP Legislative Party, the BJP State In-charge said every party worker is the base of the party’s might and when the party worker through his or her contribution works for strengthening the party then it is definite that we move towards a change, but with a resolution. She said that the party workers and office-bearers will have to focus on failures of the ruling Congress Government and take it to the people. She said that the organisational structure of BJP had been strong and once again we will collectively conquer Chhattisgarh in 2023.

 

The BJP Legislative Party meeting was attended by BJP National Vice President Dr Raman Singh along Legislative Party Leader Dharamlal Kaushik and senior leaders, including Brijmohan Agrawal, Ajay Chandrakar, Narayan Chandel, Punnulal Mohle, Vidyaratan Bhasin, Damrudhar Pujari, Dr Krishnamurty Bandhi, Rajnish Singh, Ranjana Sahu and Jitendra Verma.
