Impressed by the development works undertaken by State Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, four villagers of Riwapar, Atariya and Kuagaon under Development Block Pandaria of Kabirdham district have formally joined Congress party on Monday. The villagers who took entry to congress include 2 from Riwapar, 1 from Atarya and 1 from Kuagaon at function held in official residence of Minister Mohammad Akbar. Villagers had expressed their will to join congress.
 
Respecting their sentiments, Minister Akbar gave consent to their entry into the party. Villagers as Salik Sahu and Prakash Yadav of Riwapar, Uttam Sahu of village Atariya, and Parmatma Sahu of village Kuagaon took congress membership. The programme was also attended by Kawardha Congress Committee District President Nilu Chandrawanshi, Congress Committee Bodla Block President Pitamber Verma, Amar Verma, Majid Khan, Dhanuk Verma, Netram Janghel, Umesh Chandrawanshi, Punak Jhariya, Kawardha District Mahila Congress President Gangotri Yogi, Nagar Panchayat Bodla President Savitri Sahu, and several workers of the Kawardha constituency.
