Fees should be decided with mutual consent of private school managements and parent committees
 
 
District Education Officer Ashok Narayan Banjara on Monday asked the principals to ensure the implementation of Chhattisgarh Fee Regulatory provisions in the private schools. The fees in the private schools should be decided with the mutual consent of private schools’ management committee and parents committee, said the DEO while addressing a meeting of the principals of all the schools in the district and block education officers at Government Mayaram Surjan Girls Higher Secondary School, Choubey Colony, Raipur.
 
It is mandatory to upload updates about the formation of committee in private schools on portal by February 17, he said. A period of three months has been given for deciding fees, he added. The DEO asked the principals to start offline classes in the schools as board examinations are month away. The DEO directed that all the principals will be cluster in-charge and send proposals regarding the appointment of cluster coordinators.
 
He also directed to follow Covid rules for the safety of students coming to schools. DMC K S Patle and MIS Satyadev Verma were appointed as nodal officers for formation of mobile teams and flying squads for board examination. The DEO also laid emphasis on improvement for timely payment of scholarship and asked to give momentum to give admission in PP-1 and Class I.
 
The DEO asked the principals for regular inspection of online and offline classes being run for students of Class I to VIII. BEO, BRC and CAC will also inspect the classes and principals will prepare a roadmap for the same, said the DEO in the meeting. He asked the principals to submit their confidential report and their teachers as well. Reports should carry information of last five years. The DEO also expressed dissatisfaction over poor preparedness by some principals present in the meeting.
