Futuristic technologies should be also be focused: Scindia

Technical Education, Skill Development Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia inspected Govindpura based under construction ITI building on Wednesday. Notably, ADB project, ten divisional ITIs have been selected. These include Bhopal, Gwalior, Hoshangabad, Rewa, Sagar, Jabalpur, Bhind, Ujjain, Indore and Shahdol. Govindpura based three ITI Model, Gas Relief and Women ITI will be merged to run in the form of Divisional ITIs. During inspection, Yashodhara Raje Scindia expressed dissatisfaction on construction quality.
 
She said that high level and better material should be used as Govindpura ITI has to be established as an exemplary example. She was of the view that not only traditional trades should be taught to students at ITI but along with this, efforts should be made to give training to students at ITI in futuristic techniques as well. She said that drone mapping should be done with view of beautification and upgradation of existing building.
 
Expressing displeasure over quality of construction material, she said that such kind of negligence will not be tolerated. She said crores of rupees are being spent by government on project and hence responsibility fixation is needed. She directed to use every single inch of land premise in a better manner. High quality light fitting, tiles, fire sprinklers etc should be used in building.
