Total 265 Corona Warriors were on Saturday felicitated in the Collectorate hall. Collector Dr Sareveshwar Narendra Bhure on the occasion appreciated the officials and employees of the Health Department. Lauding the role of Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Gambhir Singh Thakur, he said that his retirement is near and despite being in the high risk category, he gave his contribution in controlling the spread of Covid.
 
He said that even when corona spread in the district was on its peak, CMHO supported his department staff, contributing significantly in controlling spread of the Covid-19. Collector also said that doctors and health staff of Government District Hospital and Covid-19 hospitals did their duty responsibly and completed the job despite the high risk involved. They worked day and night to control and prevent the further spread of Covid-19. The officer also said that whether it be tracing or treatment, the officers did their duty with full responsibility while lauding the entire medical staff and the team.
 
While appreciating the response given by Health Officers, the Collector said that the spread of corona in urban areas is controlled due to their duty which has been done with full responsibility by them. He said that the Health Department coordinated with several other departments and succeeded in creating awareness to stop the spread of the Covid-19 further. Collector Dr Bhure asked to take precautions and help in complete control on Covid-19.
