Industrialists call on CM Chouhan in connection with their projects

A delegation of local industrialists and Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited (Government of India enterprise), General Manager Uday Kamath and M N Vijay Kumar called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya on Monday. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all the necessary facilities and approvals for establishment of industries are being given in Madhya Pradesh easily and establishment of new enterprises is being encouraged. Indore International Mega Furniture Cluster Development of 'Indore International Mega Furniture Cluster' through S.P.V. is proposed in three to four phases under cluster development scheme at Village Betmakhurd on Dhar Road, 20 km from International Airport near Indore city. It will be developed over 180 hectares i.e. 450 acres. There will be a capital investment of about Rs 750 crore.
 
Indore Toy Cluster Development of 'Indore Toy Cluster' through S.P.V. is proposed over 3.5 hectare area under cluster development scheme in Rau Rangwasa Industrial Area, Indore. Through this cluster, more than 3000 new jobs will be created in the first phase. There is a possibility of capital investment of about 60 crores. The annual turnover will be around Rs 250 crore. Exports will grow globally. As per the policy of the state government, the initiative is being taken for the first time to create a 'toy hub' in Madhya Pradesh.
 
Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Ltd Officials of Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited, an enterprise under the Government of India, presented an action plan to establish the industry for manufacture of medicines. It was informed that 40 acres of land will be required for setting up the unit for the manufacture of medicines with an investment of about 300 crore rupees at Indore and Pithampur and other appropriate places in Madhya Pradesh and more than 2000 jobs will be created.
