Chhattisgarh Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (CSKM) on Tuesday staged a protest against the three new farm laws and one state law implemented by Chhattisgarh at Budhatalab. After the protest, the organisation’s office-bearers submitted a memorandum regarding their demands to the District Administration officials. Organisation’s Spokesman Jageshwar Prasad said Union Government should legalise the MSP. Also, Chhattisgarh Government’s ‘Sauda Patrak’ law, which favours the traders and impede the procurement of agriculture produce in MSP should be rolled back by bringing in a proposal in Vidhan Sabha by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

 

Farmer leaders as Anil Dubey, G P Chandrakar, Jageshwar Prasad, Deendayal Verma, Ashok Tamrakar, Lalaram Verma, Mahendra Kaushik, Chetan Dewangan, Channu Sahu, Girdhari Thakur, Ishwar Sahu, Brijbihar Sahu, Goverdhan Verma, Chandra Prakash Sahu, Shiv Tamrakar and hundreds of farmers took part in the protests. These protests were also held across Chhattisgarh in different districts.
