Seeing rise in corona cases in Bhopal, the District Crisis Management Group meeting took place under the chairmanship of Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang on Tuesday. Meeting was held at Vishwas Sarang’s chamber situated in Assembly premises. It was decided unanimously that people coming from Maharashtra should be thermal screened. Meanwhile, necessary steps should be taken for mass awareness by holding meeting of social workers and traders in the chairmanship of SDM at police station level. By observing spurt in corona cases, decision was also taken in meeting to prohibit dharna and protests.

Moreover, decision was taken for cent percent implementation of corona guideline at fair premises. Besides, directives should be given for wearing mask to shopkeepers and ensuring social distancing. Bhopal Municipal Corporation has been asked once again to start ‘Roko Toko’ campaign and should slap fine (on people) of Rs 100 for not wearing the mask. Corona guideline should be also implemented in market places.

Meeting was attended by MLA Krishna Gaur, former Protem Speaker Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Vishnu Khatri, Collector Avinash Lavania, DIG Irshad Wali, BMC Commissioner KVS Chaudhary and other officers. Notably, corona cases have once again started to increase in Bhopal from last one week. It is due to this reason that Government has decided on Monday that wearing mask will be compulsory in Bhopal along with Indore. Bhopal is report more than fifty cases on daily basis while Indore is testing more than 100 new cases every day. Cases have increased after people became complacent and started to ignore corona guideline.
