Teams of ATS, CTG and B D & DS did mock drill of countering terrorist attack at one of the malls of State Capital on Wednesday. Armed cops took the positions to neutralise the terrorists who had captured people at the mall. The mock drill commenced with terrorists barging inside mall and taking people as captive and planting bombs at various places. On getting the information, security forces encircled the mall.

 

Seeing the security forces, terrorists resort to (fake) firing through modern arms. In counter firing done by ATS, Counter Terrorist Group (CTG) and Bomb Disposal Squad, terrorists were neutralised. Security personnel later neutralised the planted bombs and thus saved all civilians. In this mock drill, around 40 officials including 20 of CTG and 10 jawans of district police force, bomb disposal squad were included. The Mock drill was carried out under the guidance of senior police officers. However those who saw the mock drill, their heart came to mouth and fear went down till spine as they were really scared. Later when they came to know that it was just a mock drill, they heaved the sigh of relief.
