‘Pari Bazar’ fun fair at Kamla Park exhibiting work of women artisans

Pari Bazaar at Kamla Park is witnessing good number of visitors these days. Pari Bazaar is a fun fair of a celebration of art, culture and literature. The people of the city are seen enjoying the local and traditional arts of Bhopal, while also enjoying the melodious melodies of the song music. This festival is organised by ‘Begums of Bhopal’ and the Fervid Club. Main objective of the festival is that through this market, women who manufacture handmade items will benefit themselves and can get revenue. The event is a major effort towards the empowerment of women artisans.
 
A large number of ladies ere present on the occasion. The festival is also witnessing song and dance by dance academy groups based in city. There are 55 stalls in the campus aimed at giving platform for the creativity of women. In these, the live demo of Zari work can be seen, and somewhere the creativity of the artists applying mehendi is also attracting attention of visitors.
 
Apart from this, different varieties of lifestyle, handicrafts, and hand-made jewellery etc have been displayed. The children enjoyed various swings in the games corner including Micy Mouse, jumping. Meanwhile, people who reached the fair market are also enjoying delicious dishes. Different programmes like panel discussion of Rajiv Mishra, on Saturday evening, Jyoti Pandey’s story-telling session and the book review session followed by Charbet programme was part of the festival.
