Wounds are healing quickly
 
The young tiger brought to Van Vihar National Park from Harda in an injured condition has showed speedy recovery. The tiger has started walking strongly in the enclosure. Wounds have been healing at faster pace. The tiger is currently enclosed to the indoor ward of the wildlife hospital and he has showed speedy recovery.
 
The park officials said that tiger has started even playing in the enclosure and taking regular food. Ashok Jain, Deputy Director of Van Vihar, said, “another medical check-up of the tiger will be conducted soon to prepare the medical report. The tiger is doing well and he has recovered from several injuries.” Last week, veterinary doctors tranquillised the stripped animal to check his internal injury. The tiger is being treated by Dr Atul Gupta from Van Vihar, Dr Sunil Tumaria from State Animal Hospital Bhopal and Dr Puja Acharya Wildlife SOS.
 
The tiger was rescued by team of Satpura Tiger Reserve in severely injured condition. Van Vihar team has kept the tiger in intensive care unit under CCTV surveillance. The feline had several injuries on head and he was unable to stand. The park officials conducted dense treatment of the male tiger with x-rays, ultra sound and other treatment process. The team found four wounds on his head caused after colliding with pointed equipment. He had also wound in hind leg. In x-ray report it was found that there were three fractures in his head and two fractures in his legs. Sources said that the tiger was attacked with an axe and efforts were also made to burn the animal into fire.
