Chief Minister ordered the officials that strict action should be taken against the culprits
 
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has termed the incident of attack by criminal elements on forest guard in Dewas district and police inspector in Gwalior as extremely sad. In an emergency meeting on Saturday morning, Chief Minister Chouhan discussed the incidents of attack on forest and police staff in Dewas and Gwalior on Friday and gave instructions to higher officials in this connection.
 
The Chief Minister said that strict action should be taken against the culprits. Chief Minister Chouhan said that security arrangements for the forest staff on duty must be ensured. For this, joint efforts should be made by the departments of Home, Forest and Revenue. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the illegal mining Mafia should not be spared under any condition. Total check on all types of Mafia in the State is must. In the meeting, it was decided the forest guard killed in the attack in Dewas will be given the status equivalent to martyr.
 
All the necessary facilities will also be provided to the family. Chief Minister Chouhan sought complete information about the attack on the Inspector of Police in Gwalior and directed to take strict measures against the culprits. Director General of Police Vivek Johri, ADG Intelligence Adarsh Katiyar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Forest Ashok Varnwal, OSD CM Office Makrand Deuskar and Secretary to Chief Minister M Selvendran were present in the meeting.
