Congress leaders supported the road blockade of farmers in different parts of state on Saturday. They supported the demand of farmers that three contentious farm laws should be repealed. Farmers have observed three hour road blockade in support of call given by various farmer’s organisation. In Bhopal, former minister and Congress MLA P C Sharma supported the farmers’ agitation and took part in road blockade, demanding withdrawal of three contentious farm laws. P C Sharma and his supporters squatted on road at Parwalia by-pass road and raised slogans against central government.

 

Likewise, Congress MLA Sanjay Sharma supported farmer’s road blockade in Narsinghpur. Other leaders supported farmers road blockade in rest parts of state. For instance, former Minister Sajjan Singh Verma and Chandraprabhash Verma supported farmers movement in Dewas. Congress leaders reached among farmers and supported them in Chhindwara, Gadarwara, Ujjain, Jhabua etc. During protest, Congress leaders raised slogans to press the demand that three contentious farm laws should be taken back immediately. In Mhow of Indore district, Congress leaders demonstrated along with farmers and later handed over memorandum, demanding withdrawal of three farm laws.
