Governor Anusuiya Uikey paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and presented him with a souvenir based on works undertaken by her during COVID-19 pandemic, titled ‘Governor’s role during COVID-19 pandemic’. During her visit to the national capital, Governor Anusuiya Uikey paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She greeted the Prime Minister with a plaque of Lord Ganesha. During the meeting the Governor discusses various significant issues pertaining to Chhattisgarh with the Prime Minister.
 
The Prime Minister asked the Governor to focus on disseminating information regarding Government welfare schemes so that SC/ST and deprived class can get benefited from it. The Governor praised the Prime Minister for his far-fetched decisions and his initiative towards encouraging Corona warriors, which finally led the country fighting the pandemic unitedly. She said all directives and guidelines issued by him during COVID-19 pandemic were deciphered among the people through various media platforms for people’s awareness.
