The vaccination of frontline workers commenced on Monday. Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary inspected vaccination centres at Pratima Malik Police Hospital, Collector office and ISBT-based municipal corporation office. Chaudhary informed that at 825 vaccination sites, COVID-19 vaccine’s first dose is being given to frontline workers. In four days of this week, vaccination of frontline workers will be done. So far, 3.31 lakh frontline workers have been registered for vaccination.
 
These are officials of police, revenue, local body and panchayat institution. At all places, arrangement of vaccination has been done according to protocol. Beneficiaries informed that they are having no problem after having the shot of vaccination. Moreover, beneficiaries in line for vaccination informed that they are having no apprehension regarding the vaccine.
 
Chaudhary added that under corona vaccination drive, Madhya Pradesh is at number one in the country. He appealed frontline workers to reach at vaccination center (as per the received message) at right time to have the shot of vaccine. He added that in first phase, health care workers and front line workers are being vaccinated. In next phase, people with more than 50 years of age will be vaccinated and he is also in the same age group.
