Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that corona is increasing in State and it is a matter of concern. Corona infection has to be controlled anyhow and all necessary measures should be taken in this regard. If corona infection rate increases then strict steps will be taken. Night curfew can be imposed in Bhopal and Indore districts from Sunday or Monday. He ordered that in both districts, functions to be organised in halls should be organised with half capacity. He underlined that citizens should be inspired to embrace all precautions needed for prevention from corona. People should be inspired to wear mask, wash hands often, follow social distancing, avoid going to crowded places and to get vaccinated as well.
Through police and municipal corporation and municipality vehicles, people should be encouraged to follow precautionary methods such as wearing masks and to exercise caution in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Burhanpur, Khargone, Ratlam, Ujjain, Betul, Sagar, Rewa and Khandwa respectively. Awareness programmes should be conducted at place to place through the help of artists. It should be informed to people that if corona increases then strict action would be taken. On need, awareness programmes should be also conducted in other districts as well. He also instructed that crisis management committee meetings should be convened and as per need, security measures should be taken. Be wary in districts adjoining Maharashtra: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that apart from Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, special alertness should be exercised in districts adjoining to Maharashtra as well. Thermal screening of passengers coming by aeroplane, trains and buses via Maharashtra should be done. Under Roko Toko campaign, people should be encouraged to wear masks and follow other measures. In meeting, Discussion was also done to limit the traffic flow originating from Maharashtra.
