Rajendra Jaiswal successfully completes Dubai Ironman 70.3

City’s Ultra runner and ultra cyclist Rajendra Jaiswal successfully completed Dubai Ironman 70.3. The 70.3 Ironman has 1.9 km swimming, 89 km cycling and 21.1 km running. Jaiswal completed the distance in 8.19.58 hours in odd conditions and won an appreciation medal for the same.
 
Jaiswal dedicated his successful finish to his mentor and ultra marathon runner Dr Amit Samarth, who recently completed 6000 kms cycling in Golden Quadrilateral, swimming guru Indrajeet Khadilkar, Harsad Patil, wife Vinita, friends Dr Sunita Dhote and Sadhana Papadkar. Earlier, Jaiswal had won a medal in Bahrain Ironman 70.3 in December 2019. He has a world record of non-stop running 81 kms with Tri Colour in hand for 12.5 hours. According to a press release, Jaiswal also claims to have a world record of non-stop running of 85 kms in drawing room during lockdown period. He has also won medals in 100, 161km trail runs.
