 Dandi Yatra led by Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel at Naugaon.

The Dandi march is once again revived and coming alive under the leadership of Union Minister of Culture Prahlad Patel.On Sunday, this journey proceeded from Kheda, Naugaon district. Here Union Minister Giriraj Singh also participated in the yatra. On the way, the Pad yatris were given a grand welcome by the villagers with flower garlands and cotton garlands. In the village Bahrai, people served the Yatris with lemon water.
 
The Yatris rested at village Govindpura. Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that it is a matter of happiness that the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Independence with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Dandi Yatra started from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad on March 12 1930 .This is an effort to continue and revive the importance of this Yatra . The brave fighters of the country including Mahatma Gandhi did unforgettable work for independence.
 
The visit is a humble tribute to these fighters. Earlier, while addressing the audience in Nawagaon, Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that Gandhi's Dandi March for India's independence shows the path to take the right decision in difficult times and do sacrifice for nation. On this occasion, local dignitaries Dev Singh Chauhan, MLA Arjun Singh Gandhi Smriti and Director of Darshan Samiti Dipankar Shri Gyan along with many dignitaries were present.
