A seven-day special camp of National Service Scheme (NSS) for cadets of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University (JNAU) opened on Tuesday. Vice Chancellor, Professor P K Bisen opened the camp with flag-off ceremony. Encouraging participants NSS cadets in the camp Dr. Bisen said NSS camps plays important role in educating Indian tradition, values to students. he said every participant would inspire others with their high values and personality and this would be an ideal situation.
 
On this occasion Director Research Services, Dr. P K Mishra, Director Insstructions, Dr. Abishek Shukla, Director Farms, Dr. D K Pehalwan, Dean College of Agriculture, Dr. AK Bhomik, Incharge Dean, College of Agriculture Engineering, Dr. Atul Shrivastava, head Dr. A S Gontia, Dr. BB Upadhyay, Principal Scientist, Dr. Hari Om Sharma, Senior Scientist, Dr. S B Agrawal, Gyanwani Prasar Kendra In charge, Dr. Shekher Singh Baghel, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Head and Senior Agriculture Scientist, Dr. Rashmi Shukla and others have encouraged participants.
 
Series of programmes would be organised under the direction of Programme Officer, Dr D K Singh, Dr Archana Pandey, Dr R N Shrivastava, Dr. Manoj Pathak and Yogesh Shrivastava. Representing the students, leaders, Raju Prajapati, Abishek Rathore, Mayank Sahu, Parthiv Nayak, Pooja Nagar and others lead the programme. The camp is being organised at Krishi Nagar Primary School. During the camp, various awareness campaigns and cleanliness drives would also be organised.
