Association of Progressive Employees India (APEI) recently felicitated medal winning athletes of the city. At the Delhi Half Marathon, Jyoti Chavan and Prachi Godbole won gold and silver medals. While Jyoti won gold in 21 kms half marathon, Prachi settled with a silver in 42 kms full marathon. Both the athletes were felicitated by the Association and were rewarded with cash prize of Rs 5000 each. Railway Police Inspector Raj Kumar, Editor of Bahujan Saurabh Dainik Siddharth Kamble felicitated both the athletes. It was also declared that the association will be giving a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month to both the athletes and will also support them in their future endevour. On the occasion athletics coach Ravindra Tong was also felicitated with a bouquet. Kishor Mankar, Prof Vilas Telgote and many other members were also present.
