Ordnance Factory Khamaria’s (OFK) display of defence ammunition being used by the Indian Army and indigenously developed, the world’s longest firing 155 mm Dhanush gun, stunned the visitors during Ammunitions Expo – 2021 at Eastland Khamaria.
 
The exhibition will be opened for residents on March 18. The exhibition is being organised on the occasion of 220th Ordnance Factory Day to showcase the contribution of Ordnance Factory Khamaria in national security. Ammunitions Expo – 2021 was inaugurated in a graceful ceremony at the hands of OFK, General Manager, Ravikant while Additional GMs, MC Gupta, B. B. Singh, MN Haldar, Alok Kumar Agrawal, Shailesh Bagairwal, JGM and PRO, Amit Singh were specially present. Speaking on the occasion, Ravikant informed that the Ordnance Factory Khamaria is focusing on advancement of defence weapons production for providing better quality of weapons to the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. He informed that the factory would soon start production of new ammunitions for providing advanced ammunitions to the Indian Army for security of national borders.
 
The exhibition is centre of attraction for children who closely witnessed the ammunitions being used for national security. Children sought information about the use of ammunitions and amazed with the production of advanced weapons in their city. On the occasion, specialists from different sections of factory were present for giving information about ammunitions and weapons to the visitors.
