Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank said that the Government had made a provision of Rs 50,000 crore under National Research Foundation for research and innovations. National Education Policy (NEP) will surely make Bharat as superpower of knowledge. In valedictory session of three-day ‘Sarthak EduVision 2021’ National Expo and Conference Pokhariyal appreciated efforts by Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal for implementation of NEP. On the occasion, Organisational General Secretary of BSM Mukul Kanitkar presented an action plan on the basis of deliberations done during the conference. Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said, “There is no dearth of human resource in the society.
 
Only direction is needed. Experience and guidance of educationists can bring changes in education.” Science and Technology Minister Omprakash Saklecha said, “Many countries achieved success by adopting Bharat models but we lagged behind due to lack of vision and Britishers-fed system.” School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar welcomed efforts of BSM and said such conferences should be organised by the Government agencies. Vice-Chancellor of MP Bhoj Open University Professor Jayant Sonwalkar conducted the session and State President of BSM Professor Ashish Dongare proposed a vote of thanks.
 
In a session on ‘quality in education and accreditation system’, NBA Member Secretary Dr Anil Kumar Nassa detailed quality and standard parameters. He said, teachers have to play different role for ensuring quality and excellence. State Culture and Tourism Minister Usha Thakur said that the NEP will lead Bharat to become Jagatguru. If students would not be taught history, how they will create future, she said. National Book Trust Chairman Dr Govind Sharma said that education is core of the society and it has three objectives to make person competent, transform knowledge from one generation to other and acquire knowledge and conduct research. Professor Dinesh C Sharma said, NEP emphasised on languages. STPI Director General Dr Omkar Rai said, NEP is technology-intensive.
