Pawan and Shraddha bag gold medals in karate

CITY karatekas won gold medals at the invitational karate competition held recently in Telangana. Pawan Raut and Shraddha Iyer both bagged gold medals in their respective age categories in 3rd South India Invitational Karate Championship. MITSUYA-KAI Hayashi-ha Shito-ryu Karate-Do India's Maharashtra's seven members team participated in Shito-Ryu Japan Karate-Do India Honbu organised 3rd South India Invitational Karate Championship at Warangal, Telangana under the leadership of Dr Zakir S Khan.
 
Fifteen-year-old Raut bagged kumite gold medal in 45-50 kgs category with the scoreline reading 4-1. In Junior category, Shraddha Iyer clinched the yellow metal. The other medal winners are Aman Shahu (kumite silver medal in 80-85 kg and kata bronze), Akash Shahu (kumite silver medal in 60-65 kg and kata silver), Om Vinod Shahu (kumite silver medal in 50-55 kg), Harsh Bhagat (kumite bonze medal in Junior 55-60 kg), Mahima Suryawanshi (kumite silver medal in 60-65 kg and kata silver), Shraddha Iyer (kumite bronze medal in 45-50 kg and kata -gold medal).
