DD Nagar Police on Thursday arrested two men on the charges of breach of trust by siphoning off millions of rupees on the pretext of putting cash in ATM Machines. The accused men work at Writer Business Service Private Limited. According to the police, applicant Bhushan Gandhi, Assistant Manager at the Writer Business Service Private Limited, had lodged a report with the DD Nagar Police that accused Mukesh Singh Thakur and Dharmendra Ratre works as cash officers with the company.
 
They take cash from Currency Chest at Bank of Baroda, Bhilai and load in various ATMs. It requires at two separate passwords to access vault of any ATM. Accused, both Mukesh Singh Thakur and Dharmendra Ratre, have the codes of ATMs. On March 2, 2021, Company Auditor Harjinder Singh, in the auditing, found that Sunder Nagar located ATM was short of Rs 2,90,000 cash.
 
At this way, the two men had allegedly embezzled around Rs 27,73,700 from different ATM Machines of Bank of Baroda. So, DD Nagar Police booked them under Sections 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Mukesh Singh Thakur (26), a native of Baloda Bazaar, currently lives at Ashwani Nagar Raipur, and Dharmendra Ratre, native of Padkitola Chilfi, currently lives at Rawabhata Birgaon Raipur.
