A woman and her two children were burnt alive in a fire in their hut at village Kisalpuriin Dindori district. The intensity of the fire could be gauged by the fact that two huts situated beside this hut were also gutted completely. Surprisingly no one heard the sound of the woman and her two children when they were trapped in the flames and it was only in the morning that residents locals saw the huts reduced to ashes. The bodies were completely burnt and it was a bit difficult to identify the bodies.

 

This heart-rending incident occurred in the shanties located near the Bus Stand at Kisalpur village. residents identified the woman as Sapna (31), wife of Mohan Vanwasi, her four-year-old, Risabh and 6-year-old daughter, Jhanvi. Her husband is employed at Nagpur and the woman was doing stitching work to fend for the family. The reason behind this incident could not be known as yet. Further, District Collector Ratnakar Jha and SP Sanjay Singh immediately left for village Kisalpuri as they came to know about this mishap.

 

They expressed grief the incident and directed to provide immediate financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to deceased family. The duo officers found the incident as suspicious and directed for minute investigation. Under guidance of SP, Dindori, the police team and dog squad have been deployed for in-depth probe. The area has been sealed. Collector suspected some foul play and said that guilty would not be spared.
