OFK staffer 2 others kill 
 
Three people, including a man and his wife, both residents of Jabalpur, died in a road accident on the morning of March 19 near Kalbodi village on Jabalpur-Nagpur National Highway 44, 18 kilometres from the district headquarters. A 11-year-old boy was critically injured and was referred to the Medical College Nagpur after first aid. The deceased was a staffer of Ordnance Factory, Khamaria, in Jabalpur.
 
Family members were shocked after the death of the man and his wife and another 27-year-old relative in this accident.
 
According to family members, Parminder Singh Sethi(45), a resident of Hathital Gurudwara Jabalpur, along with his wife Harpreet alias Rimpi Kaur (40) and 11-year-old son Rabbul Singh and another 27-year-old relative, Jaspreet Singh Rathore were travelling from Jabalpur to Nagpur in a car (MP 20 CD 3358) to attend funeral of a relative. The car was driven by Parminder Singh Sethi. The car collided with the rear end of the truck at around 8:25 am at Kalbodi intersection on Nagpur road ahead of Seoni. The deceased Parminder Singh Sethi was working in Jabalpur Ordnance Factory.
 
According to eye-witnesses, an unknown truck was crossing the road at Tirahe near Kalbodi village at around 8.30 am on Jabalpur-Nagpur National Highway No. 44. Suddenly, a car being driven at high speed rammed into the rear of the truck. Parminder Singh Sethi, who was driving the car, died on-the-spot. Critically injured, Harpreet Kaur and Jaspreet Singh Rathore succumbed during treatment in the hospital.
 
Seriously injured Rabbul Sethi has been referred to Nagpur for treatment. After the accident, the unknown truck driver fled from the spot after the accident.
 
The collision with the unknown truck was so strong that the front part of the car was completely smashed. Kurai police force reached the spot soon after receiving the information of the accident and immediately admitted the injured to the district hospital. The body of Parminder Singh Sethi, who was driving the car, was trapped in the driver’s seat due to the damage to the front part of the car and the body was removed and sent for post-mortem after much effort.
On receiving information, Kurai Tehsildar, Gaurishankar Sharma also reached the hospital and post mortem was done after the Panchnama action.
Victims were going to Nagpur to attend funeral of relatives
 
Soon after recieving news of the car accident, the victims’ family from Nagpur reached Seoni District Hospital. Family members said that 72-year-old veteran Gurcharan Kaur Anand, mother of brother-in-law of Parminder, resident of Gurunanakpura, Nagpur, was to be cremated in Nagpur on Friday. The victim family, along with Parminder, had left in a car for Nagpur in the morning to attend the funeral.
 
Parminder Singh Sethi was employed in the Ordanance Factory in Jabalpur. His family was residing in Nagpur and his wife Harpreet belonged to Indore. Another deceased, Rathore was a resident of Panchsheel Nagar Gwarighat, Jabalpur.
