People in New Market area of Bhopal were surprised to see that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was putting a mask on faces of those people and shopkeepers who were not wearing mask on Saturday evening. Chouhan also appealed people with folded hands to wear masks to prevent spread of corona infection. Chouhan reached shops and on seeing people without mask, he applied mask on their faces with his own hands.

Chouhan applied mask on faces of at least 25 people and shopkeepers. While applying mask, he was also highlighting the importance of mask in battle against pandemic which has returned with a bang once again. Chouhan said that once again corona is spreading its tentacles. Maximum cases of pandemic are popping up in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. “The effective way for prevention from corona is to wear mask,” he stressed.

He suggested people that mask should cover both nose and mouth. He said that it is important to wear mask for prevention of self, family, state and country respectively. He opined that he did not wish that economy should be affected by re-imposing lockdown in State. “If you people wear mask, maintain adequate distance from each other and follow all precautions then corona disease will not spread and lockdown will not have to be imposed. As precautionary measure for the time being, Sunday lockdown has been placed in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur cities,” he told.
