CG IAS Assn extends help to late Uikey’s family

Chhattisgarh Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Association handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Rama Uikey, wife of Chandrakant Uikey, an IAS officer, who died of cancer during service. The cheques was presented through Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at the Chief Minister’s House in State Capital on Sunday. Chhattisgarh IAS Association President C K Khaitan was also present on the occasion. The Chhattisgarh IAS Association handed over the cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Rama Uikey for higher study of son of IAS officer late Chandrakant Uikey, who died of cancer during service.
 
Chhattisgarh IAS Association President C K Khaitan also handed over a cheque of Rs 95,000 to Chief Minister Baghel in Chief Minister Relief Fund. Khaitan informed that IAS officer late Chandrakant Uikey passed away on December 14, 2019. Rama Uikey, wife of Chandrakant Uikey, did MCom and LLB and Chandrakant Uikey’s son is studying in class 12th. Chhattisgarh IAS Association President C K Khaitan has demanded Chief Minister Baghel to provide job on compassionate ground to Rama Uikey, wife of Chandrakant Uikey, on the post of class two grade in either Women and Child Development Department or Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department. Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo were also present on the occasion.
