A number of candidates appeared at four centres in the city to appear for the MPPSC exam amid complete lockdown, on Sunday. They gave the examination by following protocols. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is conducting State Services Main Exam at four centers in the city from March 21 to 26 from 10 am to 1 pm. The exam centres are Government Women Polytechnic College, Lalit Colony Nehru Ward, Beoharbagh, Government M.H. college of Home Science and Science for Women, Government Higher Secondary School, Old Milk Scheme, Adhartal, Kanchanpur Road, and Pandit Lajja Shankar Jha Model School.
 
The students, who are Covid positive, have to inform the Exam Coordinator’s Office i.e. Commissioner Office, Jabalpur Office at 0761-2970171 or on mobile number 9399382793 so that provisions can be made accordingly. Accordingly, Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School has made special arrangements for Covid positive students. The exam centers have separate rooms so that students showing Covid symptoms can appear for the test.
 
As per the guidelines of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, the students have to fill Covid-related self-declaration form. They have to reach the center an hour before the start of the exam. The students will have to wear a mask, face shield and carry a transparent 50 ml sanitizer. Apart from admit card, transparent water bottle, sanitizer; electronic device such as calculator, pager, mobile phones, smart watch are prohibited in the exam hall.
