Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur conducted a Faculty Development Programme under TEQIP III for faculty members of Government Engineering College Raipur during March 14-18. The programme was held at GEC Raipur Campus and was jointly organised by Indian Institute of Management Raipur and GEC Raipur under the guidance of Dr Sanjeev Prashar, Dean Academic, IIM Raipur and Dr Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Raipur, Dr R S Parihar, Principal, GEC Raipur, and Dr Yamuna Prasad Banjare, TEQIP Coordinator, GEC Raipur.

 

The Technical Education Improvement Programme (TEQIP) - III aims at highlighting the importance of world class technical education, identifying the gaps and lacunae in the present system, processes and infrastructure, and evolving the benchmarks for the delivery of education and resources management. The programme saw participation from 24 participants including academicians from various levels including Professors and Assistant Professors from GEC Raipur. The programme was designed to build competencies in the areas of interpersonal skills, teaching skills along with leadership skills and administrative skills.
